Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Vilhena in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiang Qing Lin to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaufred Betanzos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Candal in the 11th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from D.J. Gol in the 13th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Sabino Vilhena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabino Vilhena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 24th minute Júlio Gentil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute D.J. Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by D.J. Gol in the 28th minute. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Qing Lin in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Matos Velhos booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaufred Betanzos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Lindman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sebastian Enekoitz succeeded in the game's 41st minute to get real power on a long shot . Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! When Gaufred Betanzos came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Black Rose 1979 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaufred Betanzos couldn't finish the play. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Gentil in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Gentil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jiang Qing Lin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matos Velhos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Qing Lin in the 54th minute of the match. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. Gol in the 55th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Elias Palos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vito de Godoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 62 minutes into the match, D.J. Gol notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi. Vito de Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Matos Velhos's Özdemir Saygur got a free kick in the 66th minute. Matos Velhos's Karl Nietlisbach was substituted for Sabino Vilhena. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Lee Beckford replaced Henrique Candal. After 67 played minutes Matos Velhos got a freekick which was hit by Özdemir Saygur. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling D.J. Gol in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito de Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist got control of the ball when Lee Beckford tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match, Lee Beckford got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 71 minutes into the match, Lee Beckford dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist, 2-3. In the 74th minute Davor Šuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by D.J. Gol in the 75th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee Beckford in the 80th minute of the match. Lee Beckford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a huge save. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Éder Neto put in a rough tackle. 90 minutes into the game, one of Black Rose 1979:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Karl-Johan Ahlqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match was over Matos Velhos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Black Rose 1979 throughout the match.
