Magno Correia made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Aloísio Arruda sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the game, Alan Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internazionale-RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamutes EC the free kick. In the 9th minute, Alan Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Valério Meireles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Erik Hellström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Dave Panno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Panno in the 15th minute of play forced Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magno Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Rogelio Lynch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Netto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Valério Meireles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Erik Hellström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Internazionale-RS's zone, Dave Panno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Erik Hellström came out of the goal and Dave Panno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Internazionale-RS booed when Mamutes EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magno Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Tavares in the 29th minute of the match. Rogelio Lynch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dave Panno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute of the game Juarês Salles made a throw-in which Dany-Adams De Scheper played forward. Magno Correia made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Rogelio Lynch sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mamutes EC! Mamutes EC:s Magno Correia showed great skill when he stopped Rogelio Lynch:s penalty. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Mamutes EC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dave Panno hit a great ball. Valério Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valério Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Mamutes EC's zone, Wang Ting Hong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magno Correia came out of the goal and Wang Ting Hong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Augusto Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magno Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Alves in the 76th minute of play. Internazionale-RS were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Mamutes EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wang Ting Hong took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Aloísio Arruda got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 77 minutes into the match. Dave Panno scored 3-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Erik Hellström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeu Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
