In the 12th minute Ascencio Muñoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Amadeo Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Sjöman in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ascencio Muñoz in the 16th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Carrillo came free, but Amadeo Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Sjöman in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Guilherme Peres hit a great ball. Åke Spets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Songurbey Şahsuvar in the 32nd minute. Ascencio Muñoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Agunnaryd IK's goal looked a bit too open when Songurbey Şahsuvar came free, but Åke Spets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Sjöman in the 71st minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Pär Fernkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agunnaryd IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Erechim - FSCMZ the free kick. Åke Spets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Agunnaryd IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
