But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Songurbey Şahsuvar couldn't finish the play. After the first half Swindon Sweden FF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Songurbey Şahsuvar made a kick off. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guilherme Peres in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's corner Guilherme Peres fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reynaldo Tino quite easily take care of the ball. Amadeo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Östman in the 58th minute of the match.
