The KS Zryw Rybitwy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstanty Klimkiewicz should have stopped the shot. KS Zryw Rybitwy's attentive Zachariasz Nienajadlo managed to snatch the ball when Khairil Swee made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, KS Zryw Rybitwy's Wiktor Raflewski got a free kick in the 30th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Niedzwiecki couldn't finish the play. If Edward Niedzwiecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Waclaw Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Niedzwiecki in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrzej Sawicki to strike the kick off in the second half. KS Zryw Rybitwy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Pozzoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. A collision led to KS Zryw Rybitwy getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Wiktor Raflewski hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Bernardo Antonelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Klimkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Sedzikowski in the 95th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Waclaw Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Zryw Rybitwy succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Carloforte f.c. had controlled the match.
