Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Enrique Hanot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 14 minutes into the game, Nantwich's Albert Jowsey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo Rufo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 20th minute Miguel Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Rufo came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nantwich's 林悦傲. But to his dismay, 林悦傲 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frazer Fordham in the 27th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Jowsey in the 28th minute of play. Miguel Penha scored 0-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Rufo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeo Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Jowsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Amadeo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frazer Fordham in the 41st minute of the match. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Örjan Berggren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nantwich played a much better game than Nova Erechim - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Nova Erechim - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
