In the 4th minute Nigel Jongsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurjen van den Berg in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Espiridion in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chineze Lukaku prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Montalcino SE were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after RKSV HIER 6's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonardo de Godoi took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Leonardo de Godoi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chineze Lukaku quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute of the match Leonardo de Godoi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chineze Lukaku skillfully saved the ball. Chineze Lukaku stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Espiridion's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Ronald van der Stoel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdomiro Ferraz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Espiridion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chineze Lukaku was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Jurjen van den Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Montalcino SE from getting a goal against them. If Modesto Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Espiridion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Modesto Atarratze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chineze Lukaku. RKSV HIER 6's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Atarratze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Chineze Lukaku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Atarratze in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nigel Jongsma in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdomiro Ferraz saved Montalcino SE from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Montalcino SE made a substitution. Perivaldo Paiva replaced Modesto Atarratze. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nigel Jongsma was the one to do the kick off. Isaltino Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaltino Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo Paiva got free with Chineze Lukaku in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chineze Lukaku was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Perivaldo Paiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Montalcino SE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonardo de Godoi in the 63rd minute. Chineze Lukaku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 64th minute of the match. Montalcino SE's Nicolas Espiridion got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Montalcino SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menios Kefalos to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Espiridions short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Chineze Lukaku to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 74 minutes into the match, Fernandinho Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdomiro Ferraz. Montalcino SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandinho Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. RKSV HIER 6's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Perivaldo Paiva scored to the left of an out of position Chineze Lukaku, making the score, 1-3. Perivaldo Paiva took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chineze Lukaku. Chineze Lukaku dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Chineze Lukaku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Espiridion, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Perivaldo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Chineze Lukaku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perivaldo Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chineze Lukaku. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perivaldo Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, RKSV HIER 6's Chineze Lukaku got control of the ball when Nicolas Espiridion tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 98th minute, Nicolas Espiridion made a precise shot to the right of Chineze Lukaku. RKSV HIER 6's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Montalcino SE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
