The RKSV HIER 6 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chineze Lukaku should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Bingham in the 41st minute of play forced RKSV HIER 6's goalkeeper Chineze Lukaku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Ward Neal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Stowe City's Kaj Helström got control of the ball when Nigel Jongsma tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

RKSV HIER 6's Chineze Lukaku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Stroh in the 53rd minute of play. Kaj Helström came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by RKSV HIER 6's Nigel Jongsma. But to his dismay, Nigel Jongsma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leo Bingham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaj Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Barreto in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Stroh. In the 72nd minute Emmanuel Stroh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chineze Lukaku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
