Yupandú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kerkyra FC the free kick. 14 minutes into the match, Zlatan Messi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Astor Efren, 2-0. Astor Efren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatan Messi in the 16th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Zlatan Messi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yupandú FC's Astor Efren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 minutes, Paraskevas Labrakoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerkyra FC and the Yupandú FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Yupandú FC booed when Kerkyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paraskevas Labrakoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Erli Haaland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Efren was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game.
