Astor Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Yupandú FC's Astor Efren got control of the ball when Freddy Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Freddy Bernard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Yupandú FC's Astor Efren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Yupandú FC from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, Freddy Bernard lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Astor Efren. Segundo Rocca took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Efren. Astor Efren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 45th minute, Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Astor Efren. The goal made the score 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Bernard made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Betadur. Astor Efren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Rocca, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Rocca in the 59th minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Astor Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Efren. Yupandú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Astor Efren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Rocca in the 64th minute of the match. Yupandú FC's Astor Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Bidun in the 66th minute of play. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Chicão Carneiro suffered a sore thigh after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Delmiro Frutos fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yupandú FC's protests and gave Delmiro Frutos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Delmiro Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicão Carneiro, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan in the 71st minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Astor Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Segundo Rocca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Astor Efren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shane Milligan got free with Damian Ur in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astor Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Rocca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Yupandú FC defense, Mustafa Birol Yavuzcan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Efren. The Yupandú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Efren should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Segundo Rocca notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Yupandú FC's Astor Efren. Astor Efren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Astor Efren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Rocca, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Segundo Rocca got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes, Yupandú FC's Nemesio Cordaryal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damian Ur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yupandú FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Rocca in the 92nd minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Astor Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP were the better team. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
