Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Velez sarsfield's Qin Kun Xi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Teofilo Adrio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Velez sarsfield's Narciso Frechoso. Narciso Frechoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20thth minute of the game Qin Kun Xi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramiro Gaueko kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Cosme Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qin Kun Xi in the 28th minute of play. When Qin Kun Xi came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Velez sarsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qin Kun Xi couldn't finish the play. Cosme Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qin Kun Xi in the 37th minute of the match. Cosme Francesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Alejo Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Qin Kun Xi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cosme Francesco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Järvenperä to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's Qin Kun Xi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Francesco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Afanasiy Mozolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Raphael Leo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velez sarsfield's goalkeeper Narciso Frechoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosme Francesco had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Walter Pico from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Narciso Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Ursino in the 71st minute of the match. Cirilo Dimas lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 90 played minutes Velez sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Dimas. In the 91st minute of the match Abelardo Rocendo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Frechoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Afanasiy Mozolin took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Frechoso. Narciso Frechoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
