Yanick Knecht stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. A collision led to LIVIUS UNITED MLS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. George Catry hit a great ball. In the game's 6th minute OSASCO FC's Atilano Telo took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Yanick Knecht and thus the score was 1-0. OSASCO FC's Tostão Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Păunescu in the 13th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Aristide Păunescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OSASCO FC's Tostão Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 played minutes OSASCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Telo. OSASCO FC's Tostão Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Iosub in the 18th minute of play. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Şimandan in the 20th minute. Noel Pimentas short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Yanick Knecht to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Leonid Afteni got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the LIVIUS UNITED MLS defense, Olov Söder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yanick Knecht. The LIVIUS UNITED MLS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yanick Knecht should have stopped the shot. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Noel Pimenta scored to the left of an out of position Yanick Knecht, making the score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Pimenta to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Tostão Domingues successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 53rd match minute, OSASCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjeld Hofgaard to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Aydın Bilgiç could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Tostão Domingues however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of LIVIUS UNITED MLS booed when OSASCO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tostão Domingues made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Marcu Iosub sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Pimenta in the 68th minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bartolomé Perpiñán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, OSASCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonid Afteni came free, but Tostão Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Germano Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Knecht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Telo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
