In the 4th minute, Albin Anundsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E. C. Flamengo Paraibano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Albano Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Doriva Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Aracatiara EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva Paraense couldn't finish the play. Erberk Tunçkol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Anundsson in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Albin Anundsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 23rd minute Albin Anundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Aracatiara EC defense, Albin Anundsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Andrade. The Aracatiara EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Andrade should have stopped the shot. Erberk Tunçkol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Andrade having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Aracatiara EC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Esteves. Albin Anundsson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Paulo Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E. C. Flamengo Paraibano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Anundsson in the 45th minute of play forced Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper Paulo Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Horácio Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aracatiara EC's protests and gave Horácio Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. Horácio Pontes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erberk Tunçkol to strike the kick off in the second half. Erberk Tunçkol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Anundsson in the 55th minute of play. Paulo Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Anundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Solarek. Albin Anundsson had several of the Aracatiara EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Paulo Andrade as he didn't even see the shot coming. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Jefferson Ortiz was substituted for Jorginho Lago. Mané Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Paulo Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomás Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Paulo Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Anundsson went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Paulo Andrade made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Albin Anundsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th play minute Albin Anundsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Andrade. 0-8. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Albin Anundsson got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
