After the first half Sport Lisboa e Benfica were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darman Ardiansyah made a kick off. Japy Man's Luisito Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Collin Grimm in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Faro in the 52nd minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Herb Good to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Salvino was a little too slow when Jean Britton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-4.
