The audience was convinced that Zack Bye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliks Dec was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After the first half Dorking United FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliks Dec was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dorking United FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
