Abu Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Carlos Fernando Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nat Rohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Ismael Kalnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Tālis Cam came free, but Nat Rohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tālis Cam in the 27th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Nat Rohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fire Devils's zone, Abu Bakar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nat Rohn came out of the goal and Abu Bakar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Fire Devils's Goliath Perna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustaf Holm. Gustaf Holm yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Falko Domini got a free kick in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olof Palm during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olof Palm kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Goliath Perna was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goliath Perna in the 53rd minute of play forced Stylus United's goalkeeper Gustaf Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goliath Perna hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Sven-Arne Bengtsson came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Fire Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Arne Bengtsson couldn't finish the play. Tālis Cam's late challenge caught a Fire Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tālis Cam helped the player get up and apologised. Gustaf Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goliath Perna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abu Bakar in the 67th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Nat Rohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stylus United's Gustaf Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Bengtsson in the 70th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Fire Devils's Sven-Arne Bengtsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaf Holm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Sven-Arne Bengtsson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Fire Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Arne Bengtsson couldn't finish the play. Goliath Perna kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Fire Devils were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
