The Sonstorps Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Molander in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Pihlgren saved Fotbollens Lakejer BK from getting behind. Ludwig Magnusson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janne Katt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Ludwig Magnusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Janne Katt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 33 played minutes Fotbollens Lakejer BK got a freekick which was hit by Filip Negulici. 36 minutes into the match, Fotbollens Lakejer BK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Törnblom came free, but Jonas Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Molander in the 37th minute of play forced Fotbollens Lakejer BK's goalkeeper Jonas Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Pihlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jørg Heichendorff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janne Katt made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Arkadiusz Zaremba sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Sonstorps Fotboll were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Sonstorps Fotboll's Daniel Törnblom ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonas Pihlgren. Jonas Pihlgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After having played for 59 minutes, Arkadiusz Zaremba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arkadiusz Zaremba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 played minutes Sonstorps Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Semeno. In the 65th minute Mats Trillkott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janne Katt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Zaremba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janne Katt having to interfere. When Daniel Törnblom came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Sonstorps Fotboll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Törnblom couldn't finish the play. Janne Katt came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Arkadiusz Zaremba. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Zaremba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 84thth minute of the game Arkadiusz Zaremba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sonstorps Fotboll's Janne Katt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Fotbollens Lakejer BK booed when Sonstorps Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Bark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Vesterberg got in the 91st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Janne Katt handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Osvald Lennartsson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sonstorps Fotboll's zone, Ludwig Magnusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janne Katt came out of the goal and Ludwig Magnusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
