Gregory Mäder made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Argyris Zagorakis sent off a good shot on target. Argyris Zagorakis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 9th playminute. Kong Guo Chong's late challenge caught a Skene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kong Guo Chong helped the player get up and apologised. Gregory Mäder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Zagorakis in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Argyris Zagorakis in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregory Mäder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Skene's Gregory Mäder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Skene from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Argyris Zagorakis took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Gregory Mäder to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Argyris Zagorakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregory Mäder was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Miguel Rodríguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Mäder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. With his leg Gregory Mäder managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when SC Pfullendorf's Argyris Zagorakis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute, Birger Karlstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kong Guo Chong hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The supporters of SC Pfullendorf booed when Skene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match SC Pfullendorf got a corner. Skene's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Moya ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in David Moya almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Skene's Gregory Mäder did a great save. After 56th play minutes Argyris Zagorakis shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Gregory Mäder and just under the crossbar into goal. Skene's Gregory Mäder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 彭森银 in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skene's goalkeeper Gregory Mäder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gregory Mäder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 彭森银 in the 66th minute of the match. Per Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kıvanç Yücesan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Pfullendorf made a substitution. Huang Sheng replaced Sydney Tepedino. When 彭森银 came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SC Pfullendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 彭森银 couldn't finish the play. SC Pfullendorf were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Skene's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Moya took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Huang Sheng heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Miguel Rodríguez kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Kıvanç Yücesan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Johansson in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's 彭森银 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregory Mäder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 彭森银 in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregory Mäder saved Skene from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's 彭森银 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregory Mäder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, 彭森银 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pfullendorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but 彭森银 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Skene's Gregory Mäder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 彭森银 in the 96th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SC Pfullendorf were victorious despite being under pressure from Skene for much of the match.
