Sasho Inkyov's late challenge caught a GALACTICOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sasho Inkyov helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Real Madrid de Guatemala got a freekick which was hit by Sasho Inkyov. Sasho Inkyov made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GALACTICOS's Alfredo Palos. Alfredo Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Sasho Inkyov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Hägele took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Luiz Goiano. Sílvio Luiz Goiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 18thth minute of the game Noel Hägele who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sílvio Luiz Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leopoldo Noyola charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Noyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leopoldo Noyola kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Hägele in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Hägele came free, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Dreer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Santamaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolás Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luiz Goiano came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by GALACTICOS's Noel Hägele. But to his dismay, Noel Hägele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Sasho Inkyov hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Cristian Santamaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Dreer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Noel Hägele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALACTICOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Hägele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noel Hägele was the one to do the kick off. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Hägele, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Salazar during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angel Salazar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Angel Salazar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Noel Hägele managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALACTICOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Hägele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Luiz Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 played minutes Real Madrid de Guatemala got a freekick which was hit by Sasho Inkyov. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Noel Hägele left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GALACTICOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
