Alfredo Palos hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Hägele in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lookman Loody saved Tomitak Wrocław from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Hägele in the 8th minute of play forced Tomitak Wrocław's goalkeeper Lookman Loody to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Hägele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lookman Loody having to make a save. In the 14th minute Noel Hägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lookman Loody saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Noel Hägele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALACTICOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Hägele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, GALACTICOS's Erk Hong got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Eugeniusz Tyskie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Hägele in the 20th minute of play forced Tomitak Wrocław's goalkeeper Lookman Loody to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When GALACTICOS's Noel Hägele in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lookman Loody didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noel Hägele went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in GALACTICOS's zone, Klement Glembin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Dreer came out of the goal and Klement Glembin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Hägele took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lookman Loody. Lookman Loody dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Hägele in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lookman Loody prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 minutes, José Mora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALACTICOS and the Tomitak Wrocław players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Mora hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Przemyslaw Rojewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Esteban Dreer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eugeniusz Tyskie made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of GALACTICOS booed when Tomitak Wrocław was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Drab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lookman Loody made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Noel Hägele sent off a good shot on target. When Eugeniusz Tyskie came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Tomitak Wrocław fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugeniusz Tyskie couldn't finish the play. Tomitak Wrocław made a substitution. Tomasz Zalipski replaced Remigiusz Kaczanka. Tomitak Wrocław's Mariusz Motyl was substituted for Eugeniusz Tyskie. 60 minutes into the match, Noel Hägele notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Tomitak Wrocław's Lookman Loody. Lookman Loody was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Noel Hägele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Nesta kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Lookman Loody showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Hägele in the 67th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Noel Hägele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lookman Loody was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Noel Hägele scored 0-5 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lookman Loody, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elco Vid's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lookman Loody firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 76 played minutes Tomitak Wrocław got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Juszkowski. In the 77thth minute of the game Noel Hägele who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tomitak Wrocław's Lookman Loody was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute GALACTICOS were awarded a corner. Andrés Hong went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led GALACTICOS's Andrés Hong to fire away a dangerous shot which Lookman Loody despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Noel Hägele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lookman Loody was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Lookman Loody made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Hägele in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match GALACTICOS got a corner. Tomitak Wrocław's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrés Hong ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on GALACTICOS's corner Andrés Hong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lookman Loody quite easily take care of the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Alfredo Palos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALACTICOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tomitak Wrocław the free kick.
