In the 13th minute, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Rioja Soberon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind German Gonsalve. German Gonsalve yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Lucho Aguiar scored 3-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of German Gonsalve, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teofilo Kaiet hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Club FAAM got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Txema. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Mercurio in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richie Cagigal saved Real de Carmelo 2021 FC from getting behind. Lucho Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucho Aguiar took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised German Gonsalve. German Gonsalve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Club FAAM 's German Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucho Aguiar in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes Club FAAM 's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucho Aguiar who took care of the corner kick. Galoer Barajo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 43rd minute Lucho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Mercurio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lucho Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Club FAAM 's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucho Aguiar took the corner. In the 56th minute, Honorio Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Lucho Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of German Gonsalve. Club FAAM 's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucho Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Richie Cagigal made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Honorio Mercurio sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Lucho Aguiar sped through Club FAAM 's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of German Gonsalve. Club FAAM 's Samuel Otsando was substituted for Severo Ticho. Club FAAM 's Rodrigo Beturian was substituted for Timoteo Opilano. In the 74th minute Lucho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucho Aguiar in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucho Aguiar in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Gonsalve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC booed when Club FAAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Danel Belluga was substituted for Antônio Carlos da Costa. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Larry Estoyanoff was substituted for Lucho Aguiar. After 85 played minutes Club FAAM got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Luar. After 86 minutes of play, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Larry Estoyanoff made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Gonsalve was left in no man's land by his defense there! German Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacio Carcamo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galoer Barajo in the 94th minute of play forced Club FAAM 's goalkeeper German Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club FAAM 's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
