The referee ignored Laguna Sunrise FC's protests and gave Otávio Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Otávio Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute 楚政潮 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Jacob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Rafe to maneuver through the defense. Formentera's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Emerson Leão stood somewhat misplaced when 楚政潮 came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 59 minute. If Paulinho Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Hoffmann came free, but Froilan Jacob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Laguna Sunrise FC's zone, Osvaldo Sugar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Leão came out of the goal and Osvaldo Sugar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 楚政潮 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Emerson Leão made a huge save. Juan Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 楚政潮 in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Bernardo Ignatius collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Paulinho Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulinho Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Formentera's Tobias Ponciano was substituted for Bernardo Ignatius. After a rather tough play, Laguna Sunrise FC's Paulinho Hoffmann got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 楚政潮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Leão having to interfere. With his leg Emerson Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Formentera's 楚政潮 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 87th minute, Formentera's 楚政潮 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 楚政潮 might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emerson Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 楚政潮 ran back to his position shaking his head. Formentera's Joaquin Vela quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Otávio Pitta, made in the 95th minute of the game. 楚政潮 succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. The Laguna Sunrise FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Formentera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
