In the 8thth minute of the game Davy Giacomoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sobrecastell UD's Tome Bencoiechea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tome Bencoiechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davy Giacomoni in the 12th minute of the match. Gaspard Letourneux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tome Bencoiechea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Sobrecastell UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Cabezas to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Gaspard Letourneux shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tome Bencoiechea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaspard Letourneux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tome Bencoiechea having to interfere. A collision led to Sobrecastell UD getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Santiago Cabezas hit a great ball. Gaspard Letourneux took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tome Bencoiechea. Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Davy Giacomoni made a precise shot to the right of Tome Bencoiechea. Sobrecastell UD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kiko Ponce De Leon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelson Cloarec having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davy Giacomoni was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Santiago Cabezas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sobrecastell UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formation Pure Lyonnaise the free kick. After 53 played minutes Sobrecastell UD got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Cabezas. Pascal Collon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tome Bencoiechea. Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nelson Cloarec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Ponce De Leon in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Etxeberri Bargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Tome Bencoiechea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tome Bencoiechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Giacomoni in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Davy Giacomoni notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sobrecastell UD's Tome Bencoiechea. Tome Bencoiechea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nelson Cloarec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Ponce De Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tome Bencoiechea made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Davy Giacomoni sent off a good shot on target. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Gaspard Letourneux got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Formation Pure Lyonnaise left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sobrecastell UD.
