Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Liljeström in the 11th minute of play. Nicu Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Prelipceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Prelipceanu in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Iustinian Prelipceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Ungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iustinian Prelipceanu took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 31 minutes of play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Inge Askelöf made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Arghirescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Jităreanu in the 39th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Iulian Nicorici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ionuț Jităreanu to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes -BZF- Valea Buzăului got a freekick which was hit by Dag Liljeström. If Dag Liljeström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. -BZF- Valea Buzăului made a substitution. Vasile Târcă replaced Adrian Nicolae. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Jităreanu got free with Nicu Arghirescu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Dag Liljeström took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Nicu Arghirescu to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Liljeström came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportiv Medgidia from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Nicorici. Nicu Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Prelipceanu in the 69th minute of the match. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Nicorici in the 79th minute of play. Horea Aplugăriței hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Romeo Ungur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th play minute Iustinian Prelipceanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicu Arghirescu. 0-5. With a little luck, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu got control of the ball when Ionuț Jităreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Prelipceanu in the 91st minute of play. After 91 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Ungur. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Ungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Iustinian Prelipceanu lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Nicu Arghirescu. When the final whistle sounded -BZF- Valea Buzăului left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Sportiv Medgidia.
