The audience thought a goal was coming when Ture Arenius got free with Pedro Luiz Sergipano in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. I Putu Min Jou made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fotis Mantzouranas. Alvaro Lupi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cícero Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Alvaro Lupi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cícero Proença. SC Otten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Lupi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ture Arenius in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Luiz Sergipano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Dytrych in the 40th minute of play forced FLU ES fc's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Ackermann came free, but Pedro Luiz Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Jones Cudmore got a free kick in the 44th minute. Gilson Xavier hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Norman Ackermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 66th minute of the match SC Otten got a corner. FLU ES fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hans Rosenthal ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Wit Dytrych drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind FLU ES fc's goalkeeper. 71 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Paranaense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cícero Proença. SC Otten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Paranaense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. SC Otten's Pankracy Setara managed to work through FLU ES fc's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Pankracy Setara dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gilson Xavier struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Cícero Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FLU ES fc.
