Arnaldo Gabino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilmar Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Rosendo Tabby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LegionArgentina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Supay Puka Huasi FC the free kick. After 6 played minutes LegionArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Tabby. Gilmar Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from György Kósa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to LegionArgentina getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gaspar Berriotxoa hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Supay Puka Huasi FC's Niceto Ferdinand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Cisco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remigio Cisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, LegionArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Melgar came free, but Remigio Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Remigio Cisco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to LegionArgentina getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Benjamin Gartzen hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milton Melgar in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Cisco saved LegionArgentina from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, LegionArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Melgar came free, but Remigio Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes, Rigoberto Lucero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LegionArgentina and the Supay Puka Huasi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rigoberto Lucero kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ferdinand in the 35th minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Remigio Cisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Gaspar Berriotxoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Niceto Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Cisco having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Milton Melgar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LegionArgentina's Remigio Cisco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Luizinho Guedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Supay Puka Huasi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LegionArgentina the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell György Kósa to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Wicherek in the 53rd minute of play forced Supay Puka Huasi FC's goalkeeper Gilmar Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LegionArgentina's Remigio Cisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Melgar in the 56th minute of play. Niceto Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Cisco having to interfere. Arnaldo Gabino struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gilmar Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LegionArgentina. Supay Puka Huasi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristides Gaspard in the 65th minute. Niceto Ferdinand came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Remigio Cisco could save by the left post. Remigio Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Melgar, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Supay Puka Huasi FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Niceto Ferdinand hit a great ball. Gaspar Berriotxoa's late challenge caught a Supay Puka Huasi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Berriotxoa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, LegionArgentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. When Milton Melgar came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Supay Puka Huasi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Melgar couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Christian Benet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LegionArgentina's Remigio Cisco didn't even have to move. Supay Puka Huasi FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
