The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Logewnik came free, but Jacek Witek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bezek fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Bezek's Krzysztof Logewnik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 18th play minutes Krzysztof Logewnik shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Jacek Witek and just under the crossbar into goal. When Ulryk Konopka fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galaxy Team U18's protests and gave Ulryk Konopka a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bezek booed when Galaxy Team U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Konopka didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krzysztof Logewnik in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Witek saved Galaxy Team U18 from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Fedosz came free, but Jacek Witek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krzysztof Logewnik in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Witek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Galaxy Team U18's Jacek Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Logewnik in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Bezek's Barnaba Fedosz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacek Witek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The Galaxy Team U18 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bezek were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Kazimierz Podolski made the kick off in the second half. Jacek Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Fedosz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacek Witek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krzysztof Logewnik in the 57th minute. Barnaba Fedosz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-7 became the score in the 70th minute when Barnaba Fedosz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jacek Witek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barnaba Fedosz's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Barnaba Fedosz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacek Witek came out and tried to block the shot, but Barnaba Fedosz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 76th minute. Jacek Witek was a little too slow when Barnaba Fedosz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-9. With his leg Jacek Witek managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Bezek's Krzysztof Logewnik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacek Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Fedosz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacek Witek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krzysztof Logewnik in the 92nd minute. The Bezek supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bezek would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
