The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Klim Dolgolaptev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuareg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akademia Maliqi the free kick. A collision led to Tuareg getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Klim Dolgolaptev hit a great ball. Yakov Kalitvintsev charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yakov Kalitvintsev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Tuareg got a freekick which was hit by Yakov Kalitvintsev. After some careless play in the Tuareg defense, Oran Tahiri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Kapchenko. The Tuareg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Kapchenko should have stopped the shot. After 12 played minutes Tuareg got a freekick which was hit by Timur Manilov. After 14 played minutes Tuareg got a freekick which was hit by Yakov Kalitvintsev. Yan Kapchenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Gilesindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Timur Manilov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yan Kapchenko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmanuel Urruti went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Tuareg's Yan Kapchenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olly May in the 21st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Olly May got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yan Kapchenko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Timofey Naumenko fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuareg's protests and gave Timofey Naumenko a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Tuareg got a freekick which was hit by Timofey Naumenko. Yan Kapchenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oran Tahiri in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Nastac in the 27th minute of play forced Tuareg's goalkeeper Yan Kapchenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Akademia Maliqi's Alexandru Nastac in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tuareg's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Oran Tahiri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yan Kapchenko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Klim Dolgolaptev hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Guaberto Gilesindo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Akademia Maliqi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Gilesindo couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandru Nastac was the one to do the kick off. Yan Kapchenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandru Nastac's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 66th play minute Emmanuel Urruti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yan Kapchenko. 0-8. Tuareg's Mikhail Vorobiev was substituted for Timur Manilov. Tuareg made a substitution. Denis Ivanov replaced Timofey Naumenko. Oran Tahiri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Kapchenko having to interfere. When Guaberto Gilesindo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akademia Maliqi's protests and gave Guaberto Gilesindo a yellow card for diving instead. Guaberto Gilesindo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Akademia Maliqi made a substitution. Ivón Echavarri replaced Alexandru Nastac. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oran Tahiri in the 81st minute of play forced Tuareg's goalkeeper Yan Kapchenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Fokin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Ivón Echavarri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tuareg's Yan Kapchenko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikhail Vorobiev hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Denis Ivanov notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of Akademia Maliqi's Timoteo Lucero. Timoteo Lucero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Akademia Maliqi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tuareg.
