Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Le Yin in the 6th minute. Ramiro Isusko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aris Giannopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of FK TEPLICE STARS booed when Tabossi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Nalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Ludvík hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Aris Giannopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Isusko in the 19th minute of the match. Wladyslaw Miarka charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wladyslaw Miarka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FK TEPLICE STARS getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Wladyslaw Miarka hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Pudes during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 45 minutes into the game, Haroldo Chus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabossi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK TEPLICE STARS the free kick. Haroldo Chus hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cihan Kisačević to make the kick off. František Havlát fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Josef Ludvík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladyslaw Miarka in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FK TEPLICE STARS's goalkeeper Aris Giannopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tabossi's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Le Yin in the 64th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Zhao Le Yin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wladyslaw Miarka scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nery Pumpido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tabossi's Armando Bondi was substituted for Ramiro Isusko. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wladyslaw Miarka in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nery Pumpido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was a well-played corner which František Havlát managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tabossi's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wladyslaw Miarka in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Ernesto Nalo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Nery Pumpido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wladyslaw Miarka's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Ernesto Nalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Sabin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FK TEPLICE STARS fully deserved thier win.
