Abel Matro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Oprescu in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Matro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Plumerillo's Ignacio Fernández dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GoalHunters's goalkeeper Daniel Jienescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Asier to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Jienescu had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Tanek Poreda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Daniel Jienescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Fernández in the 62nd minute of play. Abel Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Gaúcho in the 82nd minute of the match. When João Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the GoalHunters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. After 87 minutes of play, Plumerillo's Bahadırhan Yılğıralp made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Jienescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute Pedro Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Abel Matro came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by GoalHunters's João Gaúcho. But to his dismay, João Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Chants of GoalHunters echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Plumerillo had held the ball for most of the match.
