After some careless play in the LA COSA NOSTRA defense, Jacinto Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durval Lage. The LA COSA NOSTRA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Lage should have stopped the shot. C.A Gryffindor's Tomé de Alcântara shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Durval Lage but with some difficulty. Durval Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Quirino in the 11th minute of the match. Durval Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Quirino in the 13th minute of play. C.A Gryffindor's Nikos Prattis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Evandro Azeredo in the 14 minute of the game. Durval Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Mangueira in the 16th minute of play. Durval Lage made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Matthijs De Ligt sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Jacinto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Quirino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Durval Lage was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Durval Lage had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Quirino. Durval Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Mangueira in the 29th minute of play. Jacinto Quirino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. C.A Gryffindor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Durval Lage successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Durval Lage made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jacinto Quirino sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacinto Quirino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Durval Lage. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. LA COSA NOSTRA's Durval Lage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save LA COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. Durval Lage was a little too slow when Jacinto Quirino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th minute, Marquinhos Filho had to leave the field with a concussion. Carlos Poças hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. LA COSA NOSTRA's Durval Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Quirino in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Jacinto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Onofre hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when LA COSA NOSTRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Edgard Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match C.A Gryffindor got a corner. LA COSA NOSTRA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomé de Alcântara ran over to the corner to take the kick. Durval Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LA COSA NOSTRA's Durval Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Mazer in the 76th minute of play. Edgard Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Lage having to interfere. Durval Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Mangueira in the 81st minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Guilherme Mazer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Lage. LA COSA NOSTRA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Mazer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Afonso Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Guilherme Mazer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Edgard Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Lage. LA COSA NOSTRA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. There was no doubt that C.A Gryffindor were the better team. C.A Gryffindor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
