The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernesto Alfonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Chabier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Alfonso ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcial Chabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Dobrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codrin Dobrea in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Chabier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Codrin Dobrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Chabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Quaresma took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Chabier. Marcial Chabier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Besim Orgen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radomir Dranka's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Dobrea in the 35th minute of play forced Pituil FC's goalkeeper Marcial Chabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Ernesto Alfonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Chabier. Pituil FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Alfonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Codrin Dobrea's shot in the 95th play minute sailed by a stationary Marcial Chabier straight up in the left cross making it 0-9. Kulp's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
