When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Rickard Örnberg put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jean-Marie Sanquer. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Örnberg in the 12th minute of play. When BK Södra's Rickard Örnberg in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Maximino Totakoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hercule Basque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Hercule Basque made a precise shot to the right of Maximino Totakoxe. BK Södra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 36thth minute of the game Rickard Örnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Rickard Örnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Sanquer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Rickard Örnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Södra's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Örnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Marie Sanquer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Rickard Örnberg sent off a good shot on target. BK Södra's Björn Holmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armand Mondon to make the kick off. Jean-Marie Sanquer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Örnberg in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Octave Langevin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Rayanne Ros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Totakoxe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 63rdth minute of the game Rickard Örnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Rickard Örnberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rickard Örnberg in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Marie Sanquer saved Perthes United from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Örnberg in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Marie Sanquer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Wenerdahl charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Wenerdahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BK Södra getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. BK Södra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perthes United the free kick. A collision led to BK Södra getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. When Armand Mondon came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Perthes United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armand Mondon couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Wenerdahl in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Marie Sanquer saved Perthes United from getting behind. Jonas Wenerdahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Marie Sanquer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Jean-Marie Sanquer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rickard Örnberg went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. BK Södra's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
