Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Linus Resentvig started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Mel got free with Phillip Glerum in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saco FC's goalkeeper Phillip Glerum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 7 minutes Saco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yan Yuan who took care of the corner kick. Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Dhaussy in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Challestone S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Malam Drage came free, but Pepe Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepe Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Dhaussy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mark Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saco FC's goalkeeper Phillip Glerum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gregorio Mel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Phillip Glerum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Mel might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phillip Glerum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Mel ran back to his position shaking his head. After 24 minutes of play, Saco FC's Xinaro Iranzo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepe Pancho was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Resentvig in the 31st minute of play forced Challestone S.C.'s goalkeeper Pepe Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saco FC's goalkeeper Phillip Glerum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Raul Verga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Challestone S.C.'s Mark Ambjörnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44thth minute of the game Linus Resentvig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Saco FC were awarded a corner. Denis Cordera went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half Saco FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Saco FC booed when Challestone S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rio Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Ambjörnsson in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Mark Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Ambjörnsson took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phillip Glerum. Phillip Glerum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Challestone S.C. made a substitution. Claudio Rosato replaced Yan Yuan. If Alex Capone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Saco FC were awarded a corner. Denis Cordera went to the cornerflag to take it. Phillip Glerum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Ambjörnsson went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Linus Resentvig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Pepe Pancho made a huge save. Mark Ambjörnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phillip Glerum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Chris Dhaussy might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pepe Pancho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chris Dhaussy ran back to his position shaking his head. Saco FC's Malam Drage got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saco FC! Robert Prosinečki shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Saco FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Challestone S.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
