The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl-Michael Ersman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Idar Reistad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Phillip Glerum when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Saco FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Idar Reistad scored to the left of an out of position Phillip Glerum, making the score, 1-1. Bartosz Niemojewski struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Phillip Glerum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bears are Back. In the 35th minute, Linus Resentvig made a precise shot to the right of Krzysztof Lodowy. Bears are Back's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Krzysztof Lodowy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Resentvig in the 42nd minute of play. Krzysztof Lodowy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malam Drage in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Saco FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Idar Reistad to make the kick off. Idar Reistad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Phillip Glerum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Krzysztof Lodowy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malam Drage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idar Reistad in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Malam Drage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Lodowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite this Phillip Glerum quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cyryl Lichorobiec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Linus Resentvig did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Krzysztof Lodowy 79 minutes into the match. Phillip Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idar Reistad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phillip Glerum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Idar Reistad's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartosz Niemojewski in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phillip Glerum saved Saco FC from getting behind. Chris Dhaussy's late challenge caught a Bears are Back's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Dhaussy helped the player get up and apologised. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idar Reistad in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Niemojewski came free, but Phillip Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
