Mauro Cordearo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Mauro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Ambjörnsson in the 19th minute of play. Mauro Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Mel in the 20th minute of the match. Gregorio Mel might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Cordearo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Mel ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho got control of the ball when Augusto Procopio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Mel in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Challestone S.C.'s goalkeeper Pepe Pancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Errapel. 31 minutes into the match, Challestone S.C.'s Mark Ambjörnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Cordearo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Ambjörnsson in the 41st minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Gregorio Mel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Challestone S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. In the 45th minute Mark Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Gregorio Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Errapel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Challestone S.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
