Jean-François Baudu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicasio Abreu went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Vides in the 12th minute of play forced Fierce's goalkeeper Jean-François Baudu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-François Baudu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-François Baudu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Fierce's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Vides came free, but Jean-François Baudu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fierce's Jean-François Baudu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Vides in the 32nd minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Davi Corrêa sent off a good shot on target. Jean-François Baudu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Vides in the 45th minute of play. Narciso Mendes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrice Deltour in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Narciso Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaru-Uaru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Narciso Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaru-Uaru's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-François Baudu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Jean-François Baudu managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Jaru-Uaru's Narciso Mendes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicasio Abreu took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-François Baudu. Jean-François Baudu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Jaru-Uaru made a substitution. Aurelio Ignazio replaced Nicasio Abreu. Aurelio Ignazio took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-François Baudu. Jean-François Baudu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Jaru-Uaru's Aurelio Ignazio got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaru-Uaru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
