Jean-François Baudu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Quin in the 16th minute of the match. Benedicto Quin might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-François Baudu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Quin ran back to his position shaking his head. Benedicto Quin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-François Baudu having to make a save. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fierce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Machado Assis was slow to take the kick. During this time Tasso FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tasso FC's Machado Assis to fire away a dangerous shot which Jean-François Baudu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute, Roy Bergkvist made a precise shot to the right of Monte Lobato. Tasso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 68th minute, Benedicto Quin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-François Baudu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pinto Valer hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Benedicto Quin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean-François Baudu. Fierce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Quin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Tasso FC's Severiano Torcato was substituted for Santos Benet. Tasso FC's David Gilmour was substituted for Pinto Valer. Tasso FC made a substitution. Chu Tasso replaced Benedicto Quin. A collision led to Fierce getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Evan Saillard hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Chu Tasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Chu Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chu Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-François Baudu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrice Deltour hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chu Tasso in the 96th minute of play forced Fierce's goalkeeper Jean-François Baudu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tasso FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fierce had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
