The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nevada Etxeberria in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-François Baudu saved Fierce from getting behind. When Roy Bergkvist fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fierce's protests and gave Roy Bergkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Fierce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Bergkvist to maneuver through the defense. Cefero Casero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-François Baudu having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Cefero Casero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jean-François Baudu. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Fierce's Jean-François Baudu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nevada Etxeberria in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nevada Etxeberria got free with Jean-François Baudu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jean-François Baudu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cefero Casero in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrice Deltour during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patrice Deltour kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jean-François Baudu was a little too slow when Cefero Casero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Jean-François Baudu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nevada Etxeberria's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE were furious when Loreto Vila was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Nevada Etxeberrias short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Jean-François Baudu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jean-François Baudu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nevada Etxeberria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Fierce's goalkeeper Jean-François Baudu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cefero Casero. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nevada Etxeberria made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nevada Etxeberria to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Fierce's goal looked a bit too open when Cefero Casero came free, but Jean-François Baudu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Nevada Etxeberria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fierce's Jean-François Baudu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tello Lopez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tello Lopez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fierce's Jean-François Baudu did a great save. Jean-François Baudu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cefero Casero's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Xofre Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fierce the free kick. Fierce's Gauthier Carayol shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Saturnino Nieto but with some difficulty.
