The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brian May recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian May in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximiliano Mundo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maximiliano Mundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Tidén's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Tidén in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Mundo saved Lopidato FC from getting behind. The supporters of Moodys IF booed when Lopidato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xander-Paul Kerselaers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Moodys IF's Johannes Tidén ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximiliano Mundo. Maximiliano Mundo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Moodys IF's Maximiliano Mundo threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Johannes Tidén, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Johannes Tidén did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Maximiliano Mundo 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Lopidato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu Slabbaert to maneuver through the defense. Kjell-Arne Åberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Mundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Lopidato FC's Maximiliano Mundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Lopidato FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lopidato FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Mundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Azam Sum came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Lopidato FC's Herman De Strijcker. But to his dismay, Herman De Strijcker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian May was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Moodys IF's Johannes Tidén made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Mundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 54 minutes, Johannes Tidén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moodys IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Tidén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Tidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erik Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moodys IF's Sven-Erik Martinsson was substituted for Alex Kilstedt. Moodys IF made a substitution. Viggo Bolin replaced Erik Pettersson. Enis Behiç Ünsaç kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Moodys IF's Johannes Tidén in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lopidato FC's goalie prevented a goal. Moodys IF's Azam Sum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaud Van der Vloedt in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Brian May left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moodys IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Tidén in the 78th minute of play forced Lopidato FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yannik Meersmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Mundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Tidén in the 88th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Moodys IF got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Åberg. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lopidato FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Mundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximiliano Mundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian May, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Moodys IF were the better team. Moodys IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
