Teobaldo Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermenegildo Rebelo in the 4th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermenegildo Rebelo in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teobaldo Elodio saved Fumasche from getting behind. Horaţiu Bacalbașa might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Elodio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horaţiu Bacalbașa ran back to his position shaking his head. Fumasche's Teobaldo Elodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Platt in the 16th minute of play. Teobaldo Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Platt in the 17th minute of play. Teobaldo Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermenegildo Rebelo in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Salvador Lavalle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abílio Severiano's late challenge caught a Fumasche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abílio Severiano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bacardi Black Bats getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Abílio Severiano hit a great ball. Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Bacardi Black Bats from getting a goal against them. In the 31st match minute, Fumasche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Ruy to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horaţiu Bacalbașa was the one to do the kick off. If Mümtaz İlyas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Horaţiu Bacalbașa made a precise shot to the right of Teobaldo Elodio. Fumasche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Artur Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Ruy in the 63rd minute of the match. Abílio Severiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Elodio made a huge save. Teobaldo Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 73rd minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Fumasche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. Bacardi Black Bats's Eddie Rosen was substituted for Cristóvão França. In the 84th minute Ramon Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 87th minute of play forced Fumasche's goalkeeper Teobaldo Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Elodio came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Bacardi Black Bats's Horaţiu Bacalbașa. But to his dismay, Horaţiu Bacalbașa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Bacardi Black Bats's Hermenegildo Rebelo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teobaldo Elodio. That made the score 1-4 after 91 minutes of play. In the 95th minute Mümtaz İlyas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bacardi Black Bats walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
