In the 31stth minute of the game Jardel van Beek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elderslie Magpies's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laurentino Tavares was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dream Team's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Alexandre Carvalhais at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Elderslie Magpies. 1-0. Neal Weatherby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albino Oskarbi having to make a save. Christian Kerville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jardel van Beek's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, FC Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Chaptal came free, but Albino Oskarbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Rick Souness hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Albino Oskarbi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Steven Chaptal might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Oskarbi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steven Chaptal ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Steven Chaptal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elderslie Magpies's supporters rose to their feet, but Steven Chaptal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Oskarbi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Coimbra succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. If Neal Weatherby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Alexandre Carvalhais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renan Demangeon succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. FC Dream Team's Aldaír Queirós was substituted for Angelo Castanheira. After some careless play in the FC Dream Team defense, Steven Chaptal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albino Oskarbi. The FC Dream Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Oskarbi should have stopped the shot. FC Dream Team made a substitution. Braz Tasso replaced Alexandre Carvalhais.
