Roch Chowaniec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Kerville having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Los Merengues's Roch Chowaniec got a free kick in the 8th minute. Neal Weatherby who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Ulryk Tylenda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 16 in the game by Neal Weatherby from a close distance when the talented Ulryk Tylenda managed to make a qualified save. Los Merengues's players were relieved. In the 25thth minute of the game Tommy Granberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes in the game, Steven Chaptal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ulryk Tylenda having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Ovidio Etxekopar got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Merengues's goalie prevented a goal. Roch Chowaniec scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Kerville, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 minutes, Teobald Chrobak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Merengues and the Elderslie Magpies players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teobald Chrobak kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Pere Villanueva kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Pere Villanueva.

When Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Merengues's goalie prevented a goal. Teobald Chrobak hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pere Villanueva to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Granberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ulryk Tylenda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Chaptal in the 58th minute of the match. Ulryk Tylenda came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal. But to his dismay, Steven Chaptal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Los Merengues's Ulryk Tylenda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Chaptal in the 61st minute of play. Tommy Granberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Kerville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Ulryk Tylenda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neal Weatherby in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Tommy Granberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Granberg struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Christian Kerville didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Merengues. Los Merengues made a substitution. Tomasz Latocha replaced Teobald Chrobak. In the 92nd minute Roch Chowaniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Neal Weatherby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elderslie Magpies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neal Weatherby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Merengues's Jedrzej Gdowik was substituted for Roch Chowaniec. Many of Los Merengues's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Los Merengues may have spent more time on the ball, but Elderslie Magpies were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
