Magno Jaka Jamba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Set Fire's Delmiro Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Carvalhais in the 6th minute of play. Delmiro Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel van Beek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel van Beek in the 11th minute of play forced Set Fire's goalkeeper Delmiro Rosalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Set Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Coimbra came free, but Delmiro Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel van Beek in the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ivan Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmiro Rosalio was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Scirea in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Oskarbi saved FC Dream Team from getting behind. When Caetano Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dream Team's protests and gave Caetano Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the game, one of FC Dream Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 26 minutes, Alexandre Carvalhais made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Set Fire's Delmiro Rosalio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Renan Demangeon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Oskarbi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedele Scirea's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Set Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel van Beek came free, but Delmiro Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedele Scirea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Albino Oskarbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, FC Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Dziura came free, but Albino Oskarbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Magno Jaka Jamba came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Set Fire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno Jaka Jamba couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristiano Tinoco hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Albino Oskarbi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jardel van Beek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delmiro Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel van Beek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Rosalio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Coimbra in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes, David Onas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Set Fire and the FC Dream Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Set Fire's David Onas got a free kick in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Alexandre Carvalhais recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Delmiro Rosalio. Alexandre Carvalhais showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. FC Dream Team's Ronaldo Fidalgo was substituted for Cristiano Tinoco. Set Fire's Delmiro Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel van Beek in the 77th minute of play. When Fedele Scirea came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Set Fire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedele Scirea couldn't finish the play. With 80 minutes on the clock, Lilian Thuram commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Lilian Thuram hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. FC Dream Team made a substitution. Braz Tasso replaced Alexandre Carvalhais. Daniel Dziura kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Delmiro Rosalio came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dream Team's Jardel van Beek. But to his dismay, Jardel van Beek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When the final whistle sounded FC Dream Team left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Set Fire.
