The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Dziurowicz got free with Dewa Cinta in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dewa Cinta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Jestrimski in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, FCPorto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damião Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. Waclaw Niedziela who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Dewa Cinta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Damião Lisboa charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damião Lisboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Lupus booed when FCPorto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damião Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnaba Zerde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dewa Cinta having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorato Salgueiro was the one to do the kick off. FCPorto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Waclaw Niedziela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Lupus players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
