The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Jules Cointe got a free kick in the 2nd minute. But to his dismay, Salomon Buffet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 8th match minute, FC Saubrigues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthieu Macquet to maneuver through the defense. FC Lupus's Waldemar Naskrent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lupus from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Salomon Buffet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Saubrigues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 18th minute Herbert Dziurowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éluard Coulomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Waclaw Niedziela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éluard Coulomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salomon Buffet got free with Waldemar Naskrent in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Cyprian Jestrimski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Éluard Coulomb was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tytus Wincek hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salomon Buffet to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Dziurowicz came free, but Éluard Coulomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waclaw Niedziela. 56 minutes into the game, Hamza Loaëc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saubrigues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lupus the free kick. FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Niedziela in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of FC Lupus booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamza Loaëc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, FC Lupus's Cyprian Jestrimski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Éluard Coulomb. Éluard Coulomb yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. Éluard Coulomb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Jestrimski, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. FC Lupus played a much better game than FC Saubrigues and deserved their victory. The FC Saubrigues players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
