In the 16th minute of the match Romos FC got a corner. Gärsnäs BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wu Cheng De ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Wu Cheng De almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng did a great save. Wang Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Cheng De in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Gärsnäs BF got a freekick which was hit by Tord Lang. In the 22nd minute Dane Friebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Cheng De in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng got control of the ball when Wu Cheng De tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 minutes Romos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dane Friebe who took care of the corner kick. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Wang Cheng successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs BF's Karl-Johan Magnusson got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Luisão Romero made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Romos FC's goal looked a bit too open when George Hägglund came free, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luisão Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wang Cheng was relentless in the 65th minute of the game.
