Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Mineiro from getting a goal against them. Stacey Banning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Fynn John made a huge save. Stacey Banning might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fynn John. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stacey Banning ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. River tu grato nombre walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
