Pascal Vledder came out of the goal and Inácio Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Anatoliy Gvozdevych in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by De Digitale Dribbelaars's Simon Schol.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristof Klompe to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascal Vledder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
