Dustin Burton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th match minute, Key Biscayne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucien Goff to maneuver through the defense. A.A.100Qualidade's Egídio Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Collard in the 24th minute of play. Georges Collard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Egídio Quirino made a huge save. After 32 minutes A.A.100Qualidade's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cody McKay who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georges Collard got free with Egídio Quirino in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Clayton Castillo hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match A.A.100Qualidade got a corner. Key Biscayne FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Ferran in the 46th minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Lonnie Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, A.A.100Qualidade's Baltasar Ferran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keno Pavon to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Magalhães in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lonnie Hurley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keno Pavon got free with Lonnie Hurley in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to A.A.100Qualidade getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Baltasar Ferran hit a great ball. Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Key Biscayne FC from getting a goal against them.
